Does the dashcam work without a power connection?

It requires to connect constant power supply, you can use the included car charger with the car cigarette socket.

What is the power draw on the mini 2? It should be okay to use a Anker USB-A to USB-C cable rated for 15 watts/3A amps?

Such USB-A to USB-C will be OK, 5V 2A input is OK for the dashcam.

What is the capacity of the internal battery? Do the dashcams have a motion sensor for motion detection, such as when a person approaches the car?

It use the super capacitor instead of battery, and it has built-in motion detection feature.

Does Mini 2 support Direct Data Transfer to Smartphone?

You can use WiFi for transfer, or using a type-c to type-c cable.

If I take out the Camera from the GPS Base, the electricity still drain the batteries?

It will not drain the battery if you remove the camera body.

How to erase an SD card that has been protected?

You can try to format the card via the camera menu, or format the card on the computer.

Very satisfying

I am very happy with this camera. It just works and easy in use.

A great quality little dashcam that lives up to the A119's reputation, plus the added benefit of accessing the dashcam via wifi. Good value for money. I appreciated that it comes with all you need to install it, plus some spare adhesives. Only criticisms are that the Viofo app could be better. Watching dashcam videos via the app doesn't work well, as the feed stutters every second. This is marginally improved via recording at lower quality and using the higher bandwidth wifi. Overall, great product for the money.

Very good deal for such price. Video quality is superb regardles if it is day or night. Camera is responsive, easy to operate since first time you turn it on. App is also useful and working without any issues. Camera is small, compact and easy to install. More than happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!

Top Kamera

Bislang nur Gutes. Funktioniert einwandfrei, sei es bei Tag als bei Nacht. Die Verbindung zum Handy durch im Wifi-Modus muss man jedes mal neu verbinden, hab noch nicht rausgefunden obs am System liegt oder an mir. Ist aber absolut nicht schlimm.

Bin vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Kauf und der Preis-Leistung des Geräts.
