Good Camera for a Reasonable Price

Bought this camera after lengthy research on various dash cameras. Trying to find a camera that was good quality yet not too expensive was a challenge. Further, trying to find one that had the features I wanted was even more of a challenge. I came across a review of this camera done by Vortex Radar in Oct of 2020: https://www.vortexradar.com/2020/10/viofo-a129-duo-a129-plus-a129-pro-comparison-review/?amp=1 They compare the A129 Duo, A129 Plus Duo and the A129 Pro Duo. The review is very detailed and answered lots of my questions. VIOFO had some great deals so do your research before buying. Sometimes Amazon isn’t always the cheapest. Camera install was pretty straight forward. I installed this into my 2022 F150 XLT Crew Cab. I hid all the wires and used the hardwire kit (HK3) which made for a clean and professional install. Unfortunately after the install I experienced some issues with the rear camera. The support team (who were awesome) quickly determined i needed a software update for the rear camera. Completed this and camera works great. Make sure you do your research on what SD card you are gonna use. Currently there are some compatibility issues with various cards. See this article by VIOFO: https://support.viofo.com/a/solutions/articles/19000133471 Overall very pleased with this camera. Simple yet provides great detail for recording what happened. Tons of neat features in this affordable platform. Would recommend VIOFO. I haven’t experienced such great customer service from a business in a long time. It’s clear they value their product and furthermore actually understand what they are selling and how it works. Highly recommend!

The cameras are small so they aren't too obtrusive to the clean look of the car and the video recordings look great. The parking mode works well together with the HK3 hardwire kit.
