There are two ways to format the card: 

① Quick format by buttons: Long-press the MIC button for 8 seconds.

② Click “Format SD Card” on the APP menu. 

③ Use the default format tool on your computer or download guiformat tool to format.

Micro SD Cards play an important role in dashcams, but not all cards are suitable to be used in dashcams.

The camera supports cards up to 256GB, we recommend 128GB, you can refer to this when choosing a card.


You need to buy hardwire kit and fuse tap separately to draw power from your car battery for camera recording. 

Once connected, the camera will switch to parking mode automatically when your car engine switches off, you will hear a voice notification: Parking recording started.

There are three parking modes to choose from: Auto Event Detection, Time-lapse Recoridng and Low Bitrate Recording.

Yes, the VS1 can support voice control. For example, you can speak Take Photo to the camera to let it to keep a photo of beautiful scene while driving. Please make sure that you have turned on the voice control and mic in the settings. 

1. The VS1 is equipped with Sony Starvis2 IMX675 5MP sensor, benifits a lot in shooting clear image both the day and night.

2. It supports HDR & Night version 2.0, utilizes a high-performance Starvis 2 IMX675 sensor to capture critical details in low light and nighttime driving.

3. Measuring only the size of a car key, it can be mounted discreetly behind your rearview mirror.

4. Voice control function and simple two buttons design make it much easier to use and will not bring any inconvenience to your drive.

No, you can short-press the MIC button to disable audio recording, you will hear a voice notification: Voice recording, disabled; 

Press again to enable audio recording.

It has a heat-dissipation block and can work normally at a temperature within -20℃ ~ 65℃ (-4℉ ~ 149℉). It may shut off or restart when overheating, it is best not to expose the dashcam to direct sunlight or high-temperature for too long.

The transparent films are static stickers, which can be attached to your car windshield before installing the camera. Here is a video FYI.

How to use Static Stickers

There are two ways to reset the camera:

① By buttons: Press the MIC button for FIVE times continuously.

② By app: Click the “Reset Camera Setting” on the app menu. 

Yes, it supports 2560*1440P 30fps and HDR.

Format the card first and then download the bin file to the the card and power the camera with card inserted.
