The VIOFO microSD card is manufactured in Taiwan with the top-tier MLC NAND flash chips inside, it gives greater assurances around compatibility and long-life durability for VIOFO dash camera and GitUp action camera.

A good SD card can greatly improve the reliability of your dash camera. According to our customers' feedback, most camera issues like freezing, memory error, and corrupted/missing files are caused by incompatible or faulty memory cards. So after years of testing, trialing, and developing, we have launched our VIOFO memory cards, when ensuring high-speed read/write speeds, they can also record full high-definition videos, a preferable choice for dashcams.

General considerations for Micro SD cards are the type of memory used (MLC, SLC, TLC) which will limit the number of write cycles. MLC costs more money and is far more durable. The VIOFO microSD card is manufactured in Taiwan with the top-tier MLC NAND flash chips inside, it gives greater assurances around compatibility and long-life durability for the VIOFO dash camera and GitUp action camera.

With the included card reader, it takes full advantage of ultra-high-speed transfer rates,  making files transferring between card and computer quick and seamless. 

As always, we suggest you format your cards periodically, it is easy to do by the camera body itself.
