Excellent Option

The hardwire kit is a must. It allows you to run wires under trim directly to your fuse box so cables are not dangling or visible except for the exit from the headliner trim to the camera. My car happens to have a nice opening in a perfect spot to run the wires for both the power and the rear camera connection for my A229 2CH Pro. It also keeps your USB or cigarette lighter connections free for other devices. Cable length is sufficient for any car or truck.
