A129 Plus Duo Wifi Connection Fails

I have a new A129 Plus Duo that I can't connect to via wifi. When I open my wifi preferences the SSID of the camera is not found/displayed. I also tried manually entering the SSID and password in case it's just not publicly broadcasting the SSID - however those attempts failed as well. I verified that the security is set to WPA2/3 when I tried. Is there anything else I can do or am missing? I've tried multiple devices to see if any can see the wifi but so far it seems the wifi is non-functional.

Please let me know the serial number of your dashcam. You can find it on the cam's back when you slide it out of the GPS mount.

And please try to update the attached firmware. Here is the updating instruction.

Note: There are two bin files in the zip. Please copy both files into the SD card when updating.

I installed the firmware that you provided but unfortunately there was no difference. The wifi turns on and shows the SSID on screen and the wifi indicator is displayed but none of my devices can see it. All of my devices support both 2.4 and 5ghz frequencies - and I've tried setting the camera to both 2.4 and 5 as well but nothing seems to work.

I'm not sure if this is helpful but when I long press the button to turn off wifi - the disabling icon displays and then the camera freezes. This happens every time. I've left it for over 30 minutes and it's frozen - the clock is not running, none of the buttons work and interestingly the video is still running but not actively recording. This has been happening prior to installing the firmware you provided and it is still happening.

EDIT: the serial number is A129PLUS21291914 - I noticed my previous message is pending approval by a mod so I thought I'd throw it in here to save time.

Usually, updating firmware somehow solves the Wi-Fi problem. But it doesn't work with your dashcam, we recommend you contact the seller for a replacement.
